'The Cathedral of Light' was the second release by 7thSun, available online since 25/11/2008.
Unlike the demo album '2.4.1.6.', the E.P. was conceived as a completely instrumental collection of tracks.
The pieces were performed on guitar, synthesizer and keyboard.
They were recorded between June and November, 2008.
A video for the track 'Rust' is online, featuring photographs of the neglected Palmersville area of Tyne and Wear, among other locations.
The title describes Le Corbusier's building 'Notre Dame Du Haut' in Ranchomp, France.
The release was reviewed on the blog Wild Tyme in 2008.
